As two original manufacturers in skateboarding, Vans and Independent Truck Company share roots in California and a heritage deeply rooted in the early days of skating’s genesis. Hailing from Santa Cruz, Independent has provided skateboarding hardgoods since the late 70’s, and it's safe to say that there are far fewer skaters today that don’t ride Indy trucks than those who do.
