Friendly reminder guys, When you’re selling skate shoes or any other merchandise online, make sure to check if deposit slips presented to you by your buyers are ligit before shipping the customer’s orders. Why? According to YugaTech, an unidentified group of scammers are currently at large producing fake deposit slips to scam online retailers. The slips are original BDO slips, but the details printed on them are fake. Scammers send photos of these as their proof of purchase, to fool online sellers into shipping items.

To the untrained eye, the slips looked legit. But if you'll look closely, you'll notice that the details looked like they were printed using a dot matrix printer. Just to be safe, if you are the online seller, why not validate first if the transaction they sent is legit or not. You can simply counter check the deposited amount and the details indicated on the deposit slips via BDO Onlibe Banking.

By the way, these fake slips are being used by bogus sellers! They use these fake BDO deposit slips as proof of payments and post it to their FB or Instagram accounts so buyers will think that they are LEGIT sellers.
