Check out the latest skatepark in town, the Backyard Skatepark! It is a one hell of a skate park situated in barangay Tagapo City of Sta.Rosa Laguna. To sum it all up, this skatepark is an awesome place! It has ramps and curves for every level, from beginner to advanced which is simply lovely.

Yeah, it's going to be challenging and intimidating if you're a noob like me, and aren't very good or new to skateboarding. But hey, it is definitely one of the best parks in the Philippines. It was built FOR SKATEBOARDERS by SKATEBOARDERS. Nothing but respect for DIY. It's not for free though, but there's nobody to police you about wearing pads or helmets :) and has some awesome variety of things/areas to skate. It may not be located in Manila, but this is simply the park's charm! Even if you don't skate, it's a great place to watch awesome skaters do their thing and take some photos. They also serve food & drinks and hold/run contests every once in awhile! If you like skate culture at all, Backyard Skatepark is definitely a place you need to, at the very least, come check out.
