It is the Patta X Beams X Vans Old Skool Mean Eyed Cat that boasts with a black uppers made from a combination of premium leather and suede. The brand runs deep on these babies, having a large white ‘Patta’ insignia on the medial, a ‘Team Patta’ branding in white set against black lace, and, finally, the ‘MEAN EYED CAT’ slogan that's propped perfectly on the midsole.

We have all been waiting patiently for Vans to announce what they their plan was for their upcoming Golden Jubilee. In case you haven't been paying attention, our beloved brand is turning 50 next year. And it looks like they are pulling out the stops. We are happy to bring you a peek at the Vans Pro Classics line that will consist of the most iconic classics from milestone eras and pro skaters, all with upgraded tech for comfort and skate. Here is what we are so excited about.

Duke Kahanamoku helped spread surfing throughout the world. This Hawaiian surf legend, actor, and five-time Olympic medalist handed Vans founder, Paul Van Doren, the shirt off his back to make custom shoes. The Authentic Pro ’66 celebrates Duke’s iconic Aloha print and his legendary meeting with Paul Van Doren.

As one of the original members of the ’70s Z Boys skateboard team, Peggy Oki revolutionized the sport alongside other skate pioneers, including Stacy Peralta and Tony Alva. The Authentic Pro ’74 commemorates the Zephyr team’s explosion into the skateboard scene at the 1974 Del Mar Classic.

An original Z-Boy, filmmaker, and co-founder of Powell Peralta Skateboards, Stacy Peralta brought his skate expertise into the design of Vans’ classic Era style in 1976. The Era Pro ’76 combines next generation function with the classic style of the first-ever Vans “Off the Wall” shoe.

Remember the Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle ‘Vachetta Tan’ that has been leaked months back? Well, they will be the next Pinnacle to hit shelves.

There are minor changes though compared to the first two releases like no 24 karat gold stuff (bronze is used instead across the wings logo, lace jewels, heel and tongue). Following up is vachetta tan leather on the base and a sail midsole.

The Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle Vachetta Tan  will debut in Asia on September 12, 2015. About the US release date, it is unknown for now. Barneys has collaborated with Vans to revamp the classic checkered Slip-On with luxurious materials.

The project is all about pushing the store's luxury aesthetic while cementing its status as a premium footwear destination for sneakerheads.

And make no mistake, these Slip-Ons are premium.
"We were cleaning out our sample closet last spring and found this cool material an old sneaker was made out of—a thin grain leather on one side, suede on the other. We sent it to Vans to see if they could develop it into a fabric that could be cut and woven and used for a slip-on sneaker,"said Chris Pepe, Barneys' senior buyer of men's footwear."We did several rounds of samples trying to get the texture, thickness, and color right."
And just because it's a collaboration doesn't mean that both brands can't retain its DNA; each colorway is significant to both Vans and Barneys. "We chose the standard black and white, because it’s iconic Vans, and then a black and navy version, because that’s a very 'Barneys' colorway," Pepe explained.
The Barneys "Sole Series" x Vans Slip-On collection will be available both in-store and online Thursday, August 20 at a retail price of $165.

Dank Customs really knows how to bring anyone's dream shoes to life. Need proof? Check out his latest masterpiece, the Nike SB Dunk Low Doom Custom that  features a nice combination of darker shades like black, grey, and silver.  Also, the toe has been made look like an ostrich-like material.  Adding some flavor are sick, contrasting red laces, “Doom” printed on the ankle, and a custom mask logo on the tongue.  From this photo, I am not sure if there's a drawing of a villian wearing Doom’s mask just like on the Highs.

Supra goes from the streets to under the streets with their latest collaborative sneaker. Teaming up with Andrew Levitas, the New York based photographer, painter, and sculptor, Supra presents a special edition of the Cuba slip-on featuring an image from his series of photographs taken while exploring the subterranean catacombs beneath Rome. Levitas was given unprecedented access to the ancient catacombs, which contain the remains of Capuchin friars. Creating a wearable piece of art, a grim image of one friar is backed with a plethora of skulls across each of the durable canvas uppers of the Cuba. The image is presented in Levitas’ signature style from his “Metalwork Experiment” series of photographs transferred onto large metal sheets for a sculptural effect.

Connecting with Supra founder Angel Cababa, who Levitas proclaims as an artist in his own right, the unlikely formation of a Supra streetwear sneaker with fine art took shape on the canvas that is the Cuba, featuring the powerful imagery. “The idea that a place could simultaneously represent both life and death is fascinating to me,” says Levitas about the catacombs. He opines that although there is a long history of using skulls and bones to express ideas in art, lately many examples have been too poppy or lack significance. “These images have meaning and are contextually rich,” Levitas says about his artwork. “My goal has always been to push as many people as possible to consider certain ideas. By partnering with Supra, this work will reach a whole new audience—a living, breathing, younger, thinking one.”
