Fabled skate label Supreme and Nike SB have had a long-standing relationship, the duo have forged many SB Dunks over their years. And it looks like the next chapter will be using the High silhouette for a collaboration given the moniker ‘By Any Means’. We first caught wind of this link-up mid-year with leakers and industry insiders showing off Navy/Red and Black/White pairs. Official pics of the later two-tone colourway have emerged, giving us our clearest look yet.

The foundation is quite simple, a full leather construction allows for smooth black underlays and white overlays and Swooshes. The highlight is the embroidered branding seen throughout. A graphic reading ‘No’ next to a heart is shown on the forefoot, with ‘By Any Means’ scripted on the rear incorporating Team Swoosh’s NY logo. Supreme Team has been plastered on the heel, alongside specialised insole and tongue branding.

While the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk High ‘By Any Means’ has received official pics, a release date is still unknown. We’ll keep our ear to the street and update you when we hear something.

Nike SB and the Japanese anime brand Gundam are collaborating on two unique colorways of the Nike Dunk High.

The "Project Unicorn" collection features two Nike SB Dunk High models in White and Blue-based colorways that are inspired by the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, and a book from the Gundam universe. Each pair is based on Japanese figurines called Gundam. The logo etched on the heel counter is derived from the Unicorn Gundam, which was the source of inspiration for the pair. As a tribute to its toy counterpart, the collaboration includes replaceable Swoosh branding throughout.

The Nike SB Dunk Low X FTC 2021 is dressed in a White, Lagoon Pulse, Metallic Silver, and Speed Yellow color blocking. It is inspired by traditional Japanese bathhouses as the overlay panels featuring a brick-like pattern combined with Light Blue suede underlays. Other salient features include a Metallic Silver Swoosh, Yellow covering the sockliner, tongue and heel panel completed with FTC branding on the heels atop an icy Blue outsole. $110.

The FTC x Nike SB Dunk Low is going to be released on July 21st at select skate shops and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $110.

This OG was from the early 2000s where a trend of seamless toe skate shoes has started. The midsole comes with airsoles and black splatters, while the heel tab has cement prints. Presented in black, white, yellow color blocking; the Lakai Aragon skate shoes is available on eBay for $65.

The skateboarder moves it by pushing with one foot with the other foot balanced on the board, or by pumping one's legs on land, in a bowl or half pipe. It can be used also by simply standing on the skateboard deck while on a downward slope and allowing gravity to propel the board and rider.  

How much does it cost for a skateboard?

On average, a typical complete skateboard can cost anywhere between 4000-7500 pesos, depending on the quality of the skateboard and customizations. For instance, you can save a lot of money simply by purchasing blank decks; the quality of this board is as good as a printed one.

Should you buy a cheap skateboard from Lazada or Shopee?

For me, I don't recommend them. These skateboards are bad because they use cheap material. They are fine to use a couple of times but they will wear soon. It's a lot harder to learn skateboarding using these skateboards. I'd rather buy a used skateboard than buying cheap and non durable skateboards.

Do you need a pair of skateboard shoes to skate?

Technically, no. You can skate in any shoe, but it's going to make skating a little more difficult than skateboarding in a pair of skateboard shoes from Vans', DC's, Etenies, Nike SB's, Emerica's, Supra's, Lakai's, Globe's, ES' and others. Skateboarding shoes are made to help you skate better. They have flat, grippy, and usually extra wide cup soles to help you hold onto your skateboard better.
