Paul Rodriguez was the first person to receive his own skate shoe from Nike SB, and now he's already on his eight signature shoe, the Nike SB P-Rod 8. TheNike SB Paul Rodriguez 8 is different from its predecessors and  is far from traditional when it comes to skate shoes. The new design continues to play off of the inspiration that Nike SB originally got from the Air Jordan 1. PAST INFORMS THE PRESENT

Most skaters will have had a pair of Janoskis, and very few will have been able to go back to other skate shoes after trying 'em. The hype surrounding these shoes has been out-of-this-world for some time now, with Janoski only recently speaking out to quash ludicrous internet rumors that he sold his name to Nike for a million dollars! Now, a new colorway has been released and it's the Nike SB Janoski Laser Crimson Atomic Mango! Out of the gate, the tone on the sneaker is set via a suede upper seen in a season-straddling laser crimson. Atomic Mango takes over from there, presented on the side Swooshes and blue perforated leather tongue and collar. Grupo Nopo (Opon spelled backwards), is a group of boardriders that share a common local pride, at the same time, spreading a principle that adhere to Free Energy. With origins of skimboarding and eventually skating, they started in 2003, as most groups do, as a barkada.


They can make great videos, skate and be in videos, rap, grapple, and surf, while having a grand time. Along with an ever growing community of lon boarders, they raise awareness to the alternative of public transport when they skate the streets, choosing Free Energy and making that personal contribution in the spirit of sustainable living. Grupo Nopo has also become a steady source of raw talent. Arjun Jimenez, Dandoy Tongco, Rico and Ering Ricablanca are just some who have carried the GN banner participating in longboarding events all around the country.

The Nike SB Janoski dons a new medium olive and red colorway this summer. A new colorway that features updates such as a clean medium olive suede and perforated leather tongue and heel, combined with a suede toe and vulcanised sole, as well as the iconic Nike swoosh embroidery. The  “J-Pack” showed up with its Air Jordan like version, and before that we saw the BBTYS looking “Valentines Day”.Laser Crimson has been getting the headlines, and now its latest target is the Nike SB Dunk Lows. This new laser crimson/team red version shows a unique combination between the nickname’s hue and a base in the same category. Skate shoe collaborations simply make people purchase skate shoes, but others redefine what a skate shoe collaboration means. Like the Quartersnacks x Nike SB Dunk Low, an upcoming release from that NYC outfit that goes black with some gray highlights/accents, a gum sole, and a little logo towards the heel. The details on these skate shoes were not full revealed at this moment, but as you can see there’s a 25 cent logo embedded on there that should look familiar to anyone that’s down with them.
