1000 musicians play Learn to Fly by Foo Fighters to ask the Foo Fighters to come and play in Cesena, Italy.
“The Foo Fighters are not in Romagna since 1997, it’s time to get them back, but we need a crazy idea,” the description on Rockin’ 1000’s website explains. “We have to organize something that kicks ass worldwide and can be seen by Dave Grohl: We will ask one thousand rockers to play one of their songs, all together and at the same time.”
And they did it — magnificently, after more than a year of work. “What we did here is a huge, huge miracle,” the event’s creator Fabio Zaffagnini explained. “One thousand rockers that came from all over the nation at their own expense, and they just did one song — your song. We ask you, the Foo Fighters, to come play for us.”
Update: Well done 1k Cesena rockers! The #FooFighters have just taken to Twitter to tell Cesena "see you soon".

#Dunksnotdead as the Nike Dunk “Be True to Your School” series is back…in a way. We’re going to get at least a new version of the classic color block, and it’s the black and gold “Iowa” colorway on the Dunk SB Low.
Reviving the original "Iowa" look, Nike SB created the colorway on the Dunk Low in a black suede base with University Gold suede overlays. One added touch this time around: a carbon fiber hit on the heel.
Could this be the first of more "Be True To Your School" colorways we see return? Skate Shoes PH will be eagerly waiting to see. Watch for this Nike SB Dunk style to show up at global SB accounts later this summer.
With word of the Air Jordan 1 "Rare Air" set to release this year, the original pair has surfaced online.
A student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington is mutual friends with one of Michael Jordan's best friends, who owned a pair of MJ's original game-worn "Rare Air" Jordan 1.
Franco claims that the pair was worn during Michael's rookie season which dates back to 1984-85. While it's unknown which exact game Michael wore them in, the shoe was signed and gifted to him with inscriptions on the left medial collar reading:
"My Very Best - Michael Jordan."
It continues on the right medial side of the shoe reading:
"My very best - To brother DB - love always Michael Jordan #23."
Stay with us for a Jordan release date on the retro "Rare Air" Jordan 1 and enjoy these rare photos of an ultra rare original pair in the meantime.
