The Nike SB Janoski Tiger Stripe has the potential to be this year’s answer to the whole “Digi Floral” set which hit a year ago. These are Janoski trios that feature a graphic upper, one that’s applied to each of the sneakers in a different way. It includes two rainbow tie-dye combinations and a slightly more tame grey and olive colorway, all supported by a white midsole with black foxing.

The Nike Skateboarding Janoski Tiger Stripe's are now at CCS. $80.

Picked up a pair of these SBs from CCS and I'm glad I did. Dope shoes, I definitely recommend them. Big shoutout to the crew over at CCS for these.

This Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Brickhouse isn’t a Commodores colorway, but don’t fret, it has plenty of funk. Brick red and turbo green tones which provide a palette that works year round! It has padded tongue and collar that are intact to the delight of those skate supporters like me. It has suede paneling, scaled underlays and ostrich-esque branding to bring mass appeal. Fans of the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Brickhouse/Turbo Green can pick up a pair now at CCS. $85.

One of the most iconic Nike skate shoes of all time, the Dunk High Pro is the go-to shoe within the Nike SB lineup for those skate boarders or those seeking a supportive and stable high top. It features comfort, durability, removable insole, and a Zoom Air™ unit placed in the heel sock liner for added impact protection, and style. The Dunk High Pro is ready for any skate session. We've seen quite a few collaborations and colorways for this Dunk High Sbs and the latest is the Limited Edition: 510 Nike SB Dunk High QS.

Historic Berkeley's 510 skateshop has collaborated with long time friend of the store, SF skater and graphic artist, Benny Gold, to bring us this latest Support Your Local release from Nike SB. It's an artful collaboration which cleverly spans the Bay as Gold's thoughtful line work puts a smart spin on a classic concealment pattern. It's the NIKE SB x 510 DUNK HI PREMIUM that draws inspiration from the famous Pacific cloud-inversion that surges in past the Golden Gate. It features a signature marine-layer motif that wraps the 510 Dunk from toe-box to heel panel. It has a fog-inspired heavy-duty canvas upper which is nestled in a wistful midsole, reminiscent of sunlight glimmering in ocean spray, while its sleek gum rubber outsole streamlines the profile and anchors us to the streets.

Available tomorrow at CCS (3/1 8AM ET). $120.

By the way,  I like the fact the camo was toned down a bit, as far as contrast. Reminder: They're a quick strike, so most likely a little hard to get, so don't sleep on these. You might want to hit up your local skate shop that carries SB's and see what's up!

Nike officially announced that March 15th will mark the day that two major Nike brands combined their efforts and today we received an information from our reliable sources that it will cost around $140. It sports a metallic green spray paint look on the black upper wit what appears to be 3M on the ankle pad and tongue of the shoe. Its heel features the words "AJ One SB" tonally inscribed. It will be available in limited quantities at retailers of both the Air Jordan and Nike SB brands. $140 sounds good to me! However, this will surely sell like hotcakes and most likely I won't be able to cop a pair for me because of those hypebeasts who will resell 'em for rape prices.

Both basketball and skateboarding have made a huge impact and influence in the 1980s, and while Michael Jordan made noise in the NBA, his sneaker also turned heads in the skateboarding world as some of his Air Jordan 1 pairs were the perfect addition to some of the famous skater’s arsenal. In 2 weeks we will see the much awaited collaboration a skate shoe with it’s padding and support that features a design by multimedia artist Craig Stecyk. Other features include an iridescent upper of green and bronze while his signature font reads AJ One SB on the back heel. What do you think about this hyped AJ One SB? It is said that True Red and Old Royal Blue version of this shoe will follow. Stay tuned guys!

MJ’s first signature shoe along with the skateboarding culture collide to create the AJ One SB. Skateboarding and AJ1 officially came together after the long wait, and it features a black and green upper, an icy outsole and an insole that calls out the “AJ One SB” project, and a white midsole to complete the look. Designed by Craig Stecyk – used to be the co-owner of Santa Monica’s legendary Jeff Ho Surfboards and Zephyr Production, which was immortalized in 2001′s Dogtown and Z-Boys and the 2005 film Lords of Dogtown – the AJ One SB takes cues from his art installation “Northwest Passage” and adopts his signature tribal identity alongside an iridescent upper reminiscent of bronze casting.  AJ One SB will be available in limited quantities at select Nike SB and Jordan Brand retailers, as well as Nike.com,

There will be three renditions of the AJ One SB- the first one is from Craig Stecyk while, and the other two - no idea as of yet. But we'll keep you posted as soon as we receive some new information. Tell us your thoughts on this collaboration in the comment section below, and keep Skate Shoes PH bookmarked for much more from the AJ One SB.

One thing is for sure though - These gonna sell out in a blink of an eye! Then, end up on eBay & FC as usual for rape prices hahahaha......

AJ One SB
Release Date: March 15, 2014

Originally crafted as a high-performance basketball shoe for budding star Michael Jordan, the Air Jordan I inadvertently brought innovation to skate. Celebrating this unforeseen answer to the needs of skaters, Nike SB and Jordan Brand collaborate to release the Nike SB x Air Jordan I.

Multimedia artist Craig Stecyk brings his signature tribal visual identity to the design, taking cues from Northwest Passage, his art installation that prominently features bronze casting and spray paint. The green-and black-upper features “AJ One SB” tonally scribed in a typeface designed by Stecyk that was originally featured in a leading skateboarding magazine in 1982. The same inscription also shows up on the Nike SB x AJI insole.

From the start, the Air Jordan I caused a stir among fans and executives alike. When fines were imposed on Jordan for breaking uniform regulations after he wore the black and red editions during a game, the shoe’s rebel image was confirmed.

The mid 1980s were a significant time for skating too — vert was booming, street was evolving and clothes were loud. Skaters’ outlaw image was intact, but paralleling Michael Jordan’s aerial attacks, a new breed of airborne superstar was launching from half-pipes. Stecyk was on the scene to document it all.

Skating takes its toll on a shoe, but it punishes the wearer. The supportive ankle height and Nike Air cushioning of the Air Jordan I, the very things applied to help Jordan hit terra firma with immunity, were perfect for vert’s needs. The premium leather was more durable than the baked rubber, canvas and suede of other models, and the Air Jordan I soon became a skate favorite.

Fast forward to 2014: the Nike SB x Air Jordan partnership returns with three unique makeups created in collaboration with two icons of the industry who ushered in the shoe’s adaptation — Craig Stecyk and Lance Mountain.

As a hit skateboard video from 1987 gained popularity, images of Lance Mountain in the Air Jordan I took the world by storm. From that point on, the Air Jordan I became a part of skate history, and the fashion in which Mountain wore his sneakers was nothing short of iconic. Wearing mismatching sneakers is something Mountain pulled of with ease, and is a significant inspiration for his Air Jordan I design coming later this year.

Decades in the making, the Nike SB x Air Jordan I designed by Craig Stecyk will be available in limited quantities at select Nike SB and Jordan retailers and nike.com beginning March 15.

Air Jordan 1 x Nike SB on the way? Yup! Well according to NSB, the collaborative release from Nike SB and Jordan Brand will be on March 15th, 2014. The Air Jordan 1 was a staple skate shoe in the skate community since 1980s, so it makes sense to have this famous shoe fused with the new Nike SB technology. Skate Shoes PH will keep you posted with updates.

"For sure the Hypebeasts are going CRAZY right now. First a Tiff release and now this?"

If you're unable to cop the Diamond X High SB a few days ago, chances are you're like me feeling f#@%ed up about those hypebeasts who were able to buy them in bulk in just a matter of seconds. Anyway, I have moved on because next month there would be a general release of the J 1 x Nike SB! Cool eh? These may be just rumors but I have a feeling that this is true as lots of photos have surfaced the net already. Rumors suggest that it will be released on March 14th, 2014 and it will be a 3 pack of jorden-esque sb's. A low, mid, and high. with elephant print. Stays tuned for updates guys!
