In the summer of 2022, Eric Koston revealed a Wear-Test Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 Sample in the “Black Cat” color scheme before the official launch of the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Pine Green.” Today, thanks to English Sole, we get a closer look at the details of the “Black Cat” sample and see a side-by-side comparison with the “Pine Green” release.

Despite high anticipation for the “Black Cat” colorway following Eric Koston’s reveal, it turned out that these were created solely as wear-test samples to protect the details of the upcoming “Pine Green” release. The elusive wear-test sample has remained unseen until now.
