Di'Orr Greenwood, a renowned skateboarder, was born and raised on the Navajo Nation in Northern Arizona. She has skateboarded for prestigious brands like Patti McGee's OGBetty, Apache Skateboards, Propel Skate Academy, and Las ChicAZ. In addition to being an accomplished skateboarder, Di'Orr is also a skateboarding instructor in Southern California and Phoenix, Arizona.
Combining her creativity and passion for skateboarding, Di'Orr is known for her unique, indigenous-inspired skateboard designs. From graphic design to native cedar wood flute making, her Navajo heritage is deeply reflected in her work. Her latest endeavor is a collaboration with Nike SB, where she is bringing her vision to life with a Nike SB Dunk High model.
The upcoming Di'Orr Greenwood x Nike SB Dunk High features a bold color palette, with a turquoise blue and rugged orange highlighting the side panels. The design also incorporates a Decon-inspired aesthetic, exposing the foam tongues and featuring a slimmer ankle collar. The details, including the multicolored accents on the heel, tongue, and sole, complement the overall look. The shoe's insoles feature a graphic of the Arizona valleys and desert landscape, a nod to Di'Orr's hometown.
The Di'Orr Greenwood x Nike SB Dunk High collaboration is set to release this summer for $145 USD, available at Nike stores and online.
