Released in 2006 during the Black Box Era, this sneaker pair is inspired by the iconic Black & Yellow “Bic” logo. Bic, or Société Bic S.A., is a French company founded in 1945 by Marcel Bich, known for disposable razors, lighters, and stationery. Their most famous product, the “Bic Cristal” ballpoint pen, launched in 1950, has sold over 100 billion units and is exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Center Pompidou in Paris.
The “Bic Boy” logo, created by Raymond Savignac in 1961, features a schoolboy with a ball-shaped head, symbolizing the tungsten carbide ball used in Bic pens. The “Bic” SB Dunk Low features White & Yellow leather with Black suede, reflecting the original logo colors, though the yellow shade differs slightly. An ultra-rare high version exists in the “EMB Brazil Custom Series.” What do you think of this pair? Is it the best Yellow SB Dunk ever?
