The Chinese zodiac marks this year as the Year of the Horse, and Joshua Lumain of Crow Customs, a known sneaker customizer in Manila pays homage to the Chinese New Year by turning these Janos in to a masterpiece. This Nike SB Janoski YOTH Custom is done up with a number of unique details, first and foremost of which is a quarter panel and toebox covered in pony hair of varying shades. He also seriously considered painting the swoosh red though for me, these shoes would look better with multi-colored laces. Anyway, these shoes get a big thumbs up from me.

Can we get a petition going for more Nike SB Janoski customs? The model is very popular and relatively cheap, so we don’t see any reason that it has not yet become a go-to shoe for one off looks. Helping out the cause is Joshua Lumain of Crow Customs, who created these awesome “Galaxy” version of Janoski. Joshua is a longtime artist, who can do custom artwork as well. So if you have a specific design you need, please message him to discuss. Back to the shoes.. they have been completely hand painted using the highest quality fabric paints to create these gorgeous galaxy effect! These shoes are heat treated to fix the paint but it is advised to not wear them in very wet weather. Treat them with care!
