Wacko Maria, a Japanese streetwear brand from the creative minds of Nobuhiro Mori and Keiji Ishizuka, has collaborated with Nike SB to bring us their awesome rendition of the Nike SB Janoski. Crafting its suede constructions in a bold cheetah print, the Wacko Maria x Nike SB Janoski come with white midsoles and dark embroidered swooshes. There are boldfaced Japanese characters ("Tianjin Tokyo") found on the heel of the shoes along with an added “Guilty Parties” label on the insoles. No release and pricing info yet, but will let you know as soon as they become available. TBA.

We Legendary has teamed up with Emerica for their first ever collaboration in celebration of the store's 10th anniversary. Using the Emerica Reynolds Vulc Low, the brands tapped world-renowned Filipino graffiti artist Egg Fiasco to design the shoe's footbed - a colorful rendition of weLegendary, styled similarly to the destination signs found on the Jeepney.

The shoe's black/white-gold colorway is complemented with the WL gold lace dubrae. To bring it home to where it all began, "Kamuning Posse" is found on the heel, commemorating the shop's first-ever store in Kamuning and the team that held it down for the past decade. P2,960

Fallen started in 2003 by professional skateboarder Jamie Thomas. This skate shoe brand would branch off of the successful Black Box Distribution, and house some of the most popular skateboarders of all time including Chris Cole, Tommy Sandoval, Jamie Thomas, and Billy Marks. 13 years later, the brand has fallen (2016), but made a huge comeback this year!

Officially launched this month, the Nike SB Zoom Janoski RM features an outsole that’s lighter, more flexible and has a sleeker toe box, among other Janos. In creating his shoe, Stefan wanted the most minimally-designed skate shoe possible for maximum performance and board feel, where every part of the shoe was meticulously scrutinized.

A few days ago, Nike SB launched the first of many new styles and silhouettes of the Stefan Janoski Remastered (RM). These are mid, slip and AC models presented in grey colorway.

Just today, I'm really surprised to see these 2 colorful Jano RMs over @Nike AU for $130 (AUD). What do you think? Cop or Drop?

Tie dyed Nike SBs are nothing new. 5 years ago, we've seen the Janoski outfitted with that look in a tie dye pack Janos released in 2014. The pack consists of two pairs that manage to show a little bit of restraint as far as that DIY coloration is concerned. This year, Nike SB applies the ’60s aesthetic to the skate shoe staple again with the release of Nike SB Janoski Tie-Dye 2019. The boat build goes even wavier in this new version, drenching the canvas in crimson, blue, yellow, and black colorways. The pair sports contrast trim and clean soles, letting the tie-dye design get the full display. Now available at Nike AU for $105(AUD).

Nike SB Janoski OG Tiffany Now Available @1991 SkateShop AU

Nike SB’s Stefan Janoski, has had quite a momentous year as it celebrates both the entire line’s 10th year anniversary and the shoe’s surprising return. Honoring its decade long roots, Beaverton retroed Tiffany, the OG colorway responsible for the eponymous model’s overwhelming popularity. The Nike SB Stefan Janoski “Tiffany” plays on some other skateboard classics — namely the SB Diamond Dunk Low — though its inspired scheme opts for a subtlety only it can allow, utilizing the Diamond swoosh and branded tongue accents.

Construction mostly comprises of smooth suede upper with white contrast stitching adding dimension along the toe box, eyestay, and heel. Soles are typical of the sport staple while the rest shines through a much more lifestyle-driven lens. If you want to grab your pair, it is now available at 1991 Skate Shop AU for around 100USD.

Nike SB has lived throughout the trend for so many years, and what has stayed consistent is the annual tradition of releasing a 4/20 "cannabis-themed" SB around the April 20th date. Coming next month is this Nike SB Dunk High “Dog Walker” edition that features an eclectic mix of canine-related patterns and fur colors on the various panels of the SB shoe. Cool eh, there's also an orange swoosh and a dog collar with the tag attached to the pull tab of the shoe. Although the connection to 4/20 doesn’t seem really obvious, prolly the hairy green suede could allude to the recreational substance similar to how Todd Bratrud’s “Skunk Dunks” expressed its tie to weed. The Nike SB Blazer Mid receives an awesome makeover this 2019, thanks to its upcoming collaboration with Frog Skateboards.

The Nike SB Blazer X Frog Skateboards’ upper is treated in brushed suede – akin to past collab with Stüssy — and covered in light green. Paying homage to Frog Skateboards, the centerpiece of this collab pair is a chenille frog graphic peeking out above each lateral Swoosh. Other salient features include pink ladybugs (found on the model’s white laces as well as the rear of each midsole), and extra frog branding on the heel and tongue tabs.
