According to ET Canada, the 37-year-old singer revealed on She's The Voice podcast her plans for her 20th anniversary of Sk8er Boi, with the main concept being to transform the song about a preppy girl who rejects the titular skateboarder into a feature film. The song was released as her lead single on her debut 2022 album "Let Go."

"Recently with it being the 20th anniversary, a lot of people have been asking me to play this song on TV shows, so it keeps being brought back up and people will always reference it to me. And so, I'm actually going to turn this song into a film and take it to the next level," Avril Lavigne told the podcast.

"You know what it was like in high school, you have all the different groups and cliques, and there's like skaters, preps, and jocks. It's kind of like a missed opportunity at love," Lavigne said. "The skater boy is in love with the preppy girl and she's too cool for him but then five years from now she's feeding the baby and she's all alone and she wishes she would've followed her heart and not tried to live up to society's expectations."

She didn't provide many details about the prospective film, since it's still in the early phases of development. She did claim, though, that Sk8er Boi, her favorite song to perform live, is influenced by the high school issue of being rejected by a crush.

These collectible Adio shoes are quite possibly the most ultra rare non-pro model released, and have received valuable attention.

The shoes have been prepared with new high-cushion exact-fit Khombu Ortholite X25 insoles and new white laces.

Original brown laces included (excellent). (The shoes did not have the original insoles when I received them.)

The shoes have a few flaws for their age as shown in the photos, including a tear inside the lining of the right shoe, and some minor sole separation at the toes.

Like most vintage skate shoes, the flaws will correct with glue if you're handy. $1000.

In June, Vans and Palace, a London-based skate company, collaborated for the first time following months of speculation. The Skate Authentic is made with Duck Camu Natural Collection socks and features Jeremy the Duck, Palace's employee of the month.

The Sk8-Hi is a classic design that has been spotted on many skaters since the 1960s, so it's no surprise that Converse and Palace teamed up to bring back this legendary sneaker. For the second drop, the two companies turned their focus to yet another iconic style - the Skate Sk8-Hi. There are three colorways in the collection: black/blue, marshmallow, and yellow, which are decorated with some amiable Palace Shrooms.

For this one, Jeremy avoided the gloomy and damp, but Vans and Palace riders Danny Brady and Rory Milanes returned to their lead roles in the movie, trading workstations for lab benches. It's available on Netflix.
