"Warm weather, good company, and good food are the key ingredients of a great spring. For some, there’s nothing quite like having a a bao – the traditional Chinese bun treats – as a light snack in warm weather. Celebrating this, Eddie Huang teamed up with his homie James Arizumi at Nike SB to cook up a light edition of the hallmark Dunk High Pro. Dubbed the “Chairman Bao” in honor of Baohaus‘ (Huang’s New York restaurant) signature cuisine, the sneaker wraps nods to the bun, Baohaus’ emblematic neon sign, and the bao’s blend of meats and vegetables into one mouthwatering pair. The shoe is executed with lush beige unfinished suede around the upper, paired with a white tongue panel and laces. A distinctive ice blue sole rests below, with the color reiterated on the tongue tab. Indulge in the photos above, then look for these to drop as a general release on April 1 at Nike SB accounts."
Eddie Huang of Baohaus and Fresh Off the Boat fame has collaborated with his homie James Arizumi at Nike SB to bring us the Nike SB Dunk High “Baohaus”. We have featured this shoe days ago but no we're not able to provide it's release date information. Now, we got a confirmation from Nike that these will drop as a general release on April 1st. The Baohaus NY x Nike SB Dunk High Pro Chairman Bao features an insole decorated to look like the Chairman Bao, Huang’s signature dish. It has a nappy suede upper, and an icy outsole. Since it's a GR, most likely these will cost us at around ~$90.
