An exact release date has been announced for this NBA x Nike SB collaboration, which is on January 21st. However, we found out that the Nike SB X NBA (Cavs) is now available at Nike UAE.

It looks like it has arrived a bit earlier than first expected, with a drop currently on target for Friday, Jan. 21 at $110. As expected, this shoe is coated in black paint, taking the Nike SB Dunk High Pro NBA to a new level. The paint fades as you skate, revealing a maroon leather upper and a gold Swoosh design trademark—colours inspired by your favorite NBA team - Cavs. AED 559.

Nike SB Dunk High silhouette is no stranger to camo-ridden colorways throughout the years. We've seen various camo iterations including “Obsidian Camo”, “Iguana Camo”, and many more. Now, since everyone is ready to welcome the Nike SB back with welcome arms, Nike SB brought the camo back where it belongs, surrounded by hits of premium black suede. Pairs of these Camo Dunks are currently available at Nike and select skate shops in the US. $90.

Two-toned SBs make up the bulk of the early releases of Nike SB, and not surprisingly, these are among the most coveted as ‘daily beater’ SBs. The 2005 J-Pack is among the best of that category. Despite this pink-box release, not having any collabs with artists or skate shops, it continues to be a standout among the powerful 2005 line-up of SB releases. Dubbed the ‘J-Pack’, or ‘Jordan Pack’, it resembles the OG Black/Royal Air Jordan 1, and of course, the ‘Cookie Monster’ for obvious reasons.

2005 J-Pack
It seems that it has become the accepted moniker as future SB Dunk releases color-blocked in a similar manner would commonly be connected with the 2005 release as ‘Neon J-Pack’, ‘Tiffany J-Pack’, 'Royal J-Pack', J-Pack Breds.

This goes to show that not every hot release is a limited affair or an artist collab, so enjoy this Classics Revisited and let us know if you’ve got the J-Packs stashed in your closet.

By the way, there will be another J-pack release next year (Rumor: July 2019), and it will be the J-Pack Green. For sure, it's going to be a quintessential SB Dunk too: a mix of high-quality Nike SV craftsmanship, and a touch of GREEN. Not the most subtle Dunk, but overall surprisingly manageable for a skate shoe with a Green Swoosh. Check out my rendered photo of the upcoming Green J-Pack below (LOL), and stay tuned for the official release info and images over the next couple of weeks or so.

With the festive season around the corner, the time’s right for some appropriately-themed limited editions. Case in point: the “Ugly Sweater” Dunk High that marks the second Christmas collaboration between sneaker shop Concepts and Nike SB, and oh boy, does the shoe live up to its name. With a multicolor knit upper, a thousand snowmen and the same number of wrapped presents, it’s a shoe that can’t really be described in words, so take a glance at the release pictures to witness the shoe’s absurdity firsthand. Whoever keeps Nike SB designers from killing themselves can’t possibly be paid enough. We know it’s intentionally ugly, but that’s like saying you’re intentionally going to be waiting in the cold for copping an artistically demanding sneaker. Oh wait, you are. You can buy the Nike SB X Concepts Dunk High TRD QS (Ugly Sweater) both in Bonker's web store and at their shop in Frankfurt from December 7.

AN SB OG RETURNS

The Nike SB Dunk High Pro 'Gino' Men's Skateboarding Shoe celebrates 15 years of the SB Dunk. In 2002, Gino Iannucci applied his understated palette and exaggerated perforations to a shoe that would become a most-wanted. This revival applies the original look to a high-top silhouette, while delivering the ultra-responsive feel of Nike Zoom cushioning. $110.

IMPACT PROTECTION

Full-length foam cushioning with a Nike Zoom Air unit in the heel offers impact protection and a responsive boardfeel.

EXCELLENT GRIP

A flexible rubber outsole with a forefoot pivot circle delivers powerful grip while helping you more easily change direction.

NIKE SB DUNK ORIGINS

Originally a classic Nike hoops shoe, the Dunk was organically adopted by skate culture—and in time reengineered for the session by Nike SB. These days, the SB Dunk doubles as a starting point for many of the brand's most influential design collaborators, from small-town skate shops to iconic New York fashion houses.

These Dunks are On Sale @SoleSistersHTX for $135.

About Nike SB Dunk High "Statue of Liberty"

"Inspired by the Statue of Liberty, this limited edition release of the Nike SB Dunk High features a turquoise green upper that through wear and tear reveals a copper layer underneath. Yet another creative and sought after version of the Nike SB Dunk."

The Nike SB ‘Shoebox’ gave us a hint of nostalgia recently and today it seems that we’re going all the way down memory lane with a series of boxes. Next up is the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Gray Box’. Nike has thrown back with a gray nubuck upper to match the color of the box, and green detailing, matching the old green label. Let’s hope this keeps going.

The Nike SB Dunk High ‘Gray Box’ doesn’t have a release date just yet, keep your eyes peeled.

Nike SB brings again a SKATE SHOP collab together with Ithaca, New York based HOMEGROWN SKATESHOP.

"Inspired by Ithaca New York, our take on the timeless silhouette draws heavily on the area’s wooded terrain and natural beauty. We wanted the shoe to immediately look and feel like it
was built to be at home in the outdoors. The rugged full pig suede upper, understated color blocking, hiker laces, and artwork by long time shop family member Jesse Hill all combine to convey the outdoor theme while maintaining a clean aesthetic that perfectly compliments the classic lines of the Dunk." - Homegrown

The "Cornucopia" is a symbol of abundance also known as a large horn-shaped container overflowing with produce, flowers or nuts. This is apparently the inspiration for this latest Nike SB Dunk High. Made in a tonal brown upper, it features layers of suede complimented by woven panelling that creates a pretty spot-on correlation from the backstory to the visual endgame. Now available at select Swoosh accounts.

Here's somewhat of a throwback Monday from the heyday of Nike SB, the Dunk High is now available at skate shops in a new "Brown Ale" colorway.

This high-top uses texture and materials to break up the panels. A woven textile works alongside suede overlays, both styled in ale brown tones. Tour Yellow gets in the mix on the tongue label, while the rest of the shoe stays true to its tonal base. $110.
