Lindsay Jo Holmes, a skateboarder and the famous designer and founder of MapleXO has collaborated with Grove, a company that handicrafts iPhone gear to create limited edition iPhone cases out of Salvaged Skateboards. Recycling skateboards is nothing new, but these iPhone cases are really note-worthy for the sanding and finishing of those salvaged skateboards alone took them about a year, not to mention the selection of these decks for color coordination and assembly. It took 300 skate decks for Grove to make 50 iPhone cases.
Released 4 years ago, these iPhone cases are nowhere to be found.
