Remember the Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle ‘Vachetta Tan’ that has been leaked months back? Well, they will be the next Pinnacle to hit shelves.

There are minor changes though compared to the first two releases like no 24 karat gold stuff (bronze is used instead across the wings logo, lace jewels, heel and tongue). Following up is vachetta tan leather on the base and a sail midsole.

The Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle Vachetta Tan  will debut in Asia on September 12, 2015. About the US release date, it is unknown for now. The Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle isn’t done yet. The $400 Air Jordan 1 is back featuring a more sophisticated look as previewed by long-time member of the Jordan Brand family, Rip Hamilton. Gone is the all-over snakeskin textile for a premium brown leather while what looks to be a crocodile motif lingers on the ankle collar and Swoosh. The 24K gold accents are still here, as is the special edition boxing featuring that metallic gold insert that points to a potential retail release.

Jordan brand seems to be taking a break from the crazy colorways, as they roll out these two neutral tones for the Summertime featuring a Solid White and Black colorway in leather. These White and Black mids are just perfect for those who want to keep it clean or simply stay away from all the attention, and offer up a nice combination of materials. These have dropped at Jordan Brand retailers across the U.S like Wish.

We’ve heard a lot of news that the Air Jordan 1 High in the OG ‘Chicago’ colourway is coming back later this month, and it looks like Finish Line just confirmed this with some stock photos of the said shoe which will be released on May 30th. The one that started it all will return in all its OG glory, one upping the 2013 retro by finally sporting the Nike Air tongue tab once again and deleting the Jumpman from the heel. This release will be one of the most sought after drops during this 30th anniversary year for Jordan Brand, so be sure you're on the look out and be quick in pulling up the trigger to beat all the Nike bots when they drop at select Nike accounts and NDC on May 30th.

Jordan Brand will release the Air Jordan 1 High dubbed “Shattered Backboard” this year that's inspired by his airness' backboard shattering moment in Trieste, Italy way back in 1985.




Before the Jordan/Bulls era, Michael Jordan was breaking backboards in exhibition games overseas. During a Nike Exhibition game in Trieste, Italy, Michael Jordan scored 30 points before shattering the backboard on the opposing team. Cool eh?

The Nike Air Jordan 1 High “Shattered Backboard” will feature the jersey worn by Jordan at the Nike exhibition game (a Black Orange and White colorway). Using Kanye’s LV kicks as inspiration, C.P.B Customs reworks a pair of Air Jordan 1s to create this pair of AJ 1 X Louis Vuitton Customs. Made for a lucky client, he ports over the plush tan and burgundy colorway from the previously mentioned kicks along with a few extra details. We're not sure though if it has custom made tongue logos, or insoles (this post is to be updated). But one thing's for sure, he forgot to add those tassel lace tips to fully compliment the shoe. Anyway, it still looks awesome and we can say that he pulled out all the stops for this reimagined body of work. Check out the pictures below and let us know what you think.

As part of AJ brand 30th Anniversary celebration, they have dug back into its storied archives and pulled out this Air Jordan 1 Retro High “Laser.” This 2005 AJ was the first ever Air Jordan signature shoe to feature the laser-etched design, a look which again returned in 2010 on a number of AJ relaunches. The theme has reappeared and this time, in the early stages of 2015, with an almost-random graphic just about sharing equal space with the white leather build, which together offer a nice contrast with the Metallic Silver etching, grey Swooshes, and Nike Air tongue tags. The entire look is highlighted by a clean white midsole and a icy blue outsole.

Air Jordan has unveiled its Black History Month Line up for 2015. Yearly, Nike creates a special line up to commemorate African American history using signature silhouettes. In recent years, Kobe, Dunks,Lebron, Durant models have been part of the line up, including a few Air Jordan models.
