Before Axion Footwear was being made by Circa, it was owned by Kareem Campbell. Way back in 1995 I used to have a Nutek model and I don't know why but they were instantly my favorite skate shoe. I have been looking for these shoes for years but still couldn't find one.

Skateboarding shoe is not really seen by the general public these days unless you buy at Famous brands or other "mall shops" where they carry Vans, Nike, or DC shoes. I have been buying retros (the bulky ones) recently and hoping to buy a pair of these in 9/9.5US. If you have this pair, please hit me up. Enjoy!

By the way, while I was looking for this shoe, I found this gem on Instagram. Still looks new eh? Nice pair __nur_so__!

No. 10 - Globe Mahalo Globe Mahalo sports a classic look that we have all seen before but with a couple of aesthetic adjustments, and has been made to last - it won't rip up as quickly as you are thinking it will. Be sure that you have the suede/canvas version and not the all canvas one. The canvas/suede version is made to handle intense sessions and the vulcanized S-Trac outsole keeps the shoe's rip while withstanding aggressive pushes. $65

 No. 9 - Axion Mijo Released last year, this Manny Santiago's first skate pro shoe is the highlight of Axion's Spring 2013 line. It's influenced by a Michael Jordan model, and is made to accommodate Santiago's love of tech and skateboarding. It features a one piece toe and comes with padded tongue to go along with the shoe's EVA insole that contains a gel heel cushion. $65.


 No. 8 - adidas Silas Pro II


The Silas Pro II received an update and it looks better and more durable this time. Its one-piece toe cap looks good and it skates better than those skate shoes with stitched paneling. It has a GEOFIT collar that provides stability, and an adiPRENE heel cushioning which gives you the protection from heel bruises. You will like the vulc sole, the recessed eyelets, thouugh you might find it odd to see the tongue attached only to one side.
