Nike SB Release Dates 2019

The 2019 Nike SBs are going to include numerous new colorways and collaborations. In fact, Nike SB already a few brand new releases lined up, including the Black/White Pigeons, the Nike SB X NBA Collection II, and the Green J Pack SBs.


The Nike SB Dunk Low Black Washed Coral is the latest Dunk Low from Nike SB. It features a black leather mid and toe vamping with black suede and light coral on the swoosh, sock liner, and under the sole. It also comes with the extra corral colored laces. This is the June GR so expect them in shops by the end of the month. $90.

Nike SB X Staple Pigeon Panda - Release Date: January 2019

About three months ago, Verdy unveiled his upcoming Nike SB X Girl's Don't Cry at the Girl’s Don’t Cry #HYPEFEST concept booth. Today, he teases us again with yet another photo of the said SB Dunk. It is said that this shoe will launch sometime this year.

Here’s your first look at some upcoming dunks. Releasing in July/August. The Nike SB White/Blue Porcelain Dunk will be part of the Nike SB "Porcelain Pack" along with the Nike SB Janoski Porcelain that will feature a tearaway paint. The dunk low will reveal blue while the Janoski will show black. Leather will be cracked to look like porcelain. It looks like the tongues on the dunks will be on a diet still (LOL).

There will also be a pink/white and orange/white dunk lows to look forward to. Check out the images of the upcoming kicks below (thanks nikesbornothing), and stay tuned for more info on a specific drop date as soon as it becomes available.




Nike SB Janoski "Porcelain" 2019

Originally released in 2009, the Janoski SBs received lots of makeovers, from sleek slip-on versions to the flexible Janoski Max. This year, it's ringing in its second decade with yet another alternate take: the Janoski Mid Crafted. This Nike SB Janoski Mid Crafted boasts with a new silhouette that’s more moccasin than a boat shoe. Arriving in two colorways, each shoe features a premium suede upper with a raised stitched seam around the toebox. Other salient features include raw-edged laces, accents that drive home the moccasin stylings, a supple brown leather liner, a cork insole, and a sail midsole. TBA.


It looks like we're seeing another version to the Girls Don’t Cry x Nike SB collab. Teased over Instagram, this new white / red colorway features light-gray nubuck uppers and incorporates the Girls Don’t Cry signature color of red — seen on the outsole, insoles, and butterfly tongue patches. Other hints of red are coming in the form of “Girls Don’t Cry” embroidery at the lateral side of the heel, and in the Nike SB embroidery at the top of the heel.

There’s no release date info yet, but stay tuned as official news will soon follow.

Nike SB X Jordan 2019

Nike SB's recent collaboration with Jordan Brand was in 2014 when they released the “Lance Mountain” 1s and now it seems they are reconnecting once again.

According to rumor mill, there will be a new Nike SB X Jordan collab, and this time around it is going to be a low-top version. As of this writing, it is reported that two colorways will be hitting the streets, one being a “Dark Powder Blue/Dark Powder Blue/White” iteration, while the other version donning a “Midnight Navy/Metallic Silver/White” colorway. It is also said that the two sneakers will be released this coming Summer, with a retail price set at $110 USD a pair.

Nope, this is not a tribute to the late Joe Strummer, guitarist and lead vocalist for legendary British punk band, The Clash - though it really looks like the SB Dunk Lows Joe Strummer from afar.

This is the latest Nike SB Air Force II Low, featuring a multi-colored suede and leather upper in a black, lichen brown, and white color combination. Additional details include black Nike branding on the heel, white midsole, and a brown outsole. $95.

As Nike SB continues to celebrate fifteen years of the iconic Dunk, SB Pro Richard Mulder
revives his 2002 low-top classic in a special high-top edition.


These Nike SB High Mulders are another rare and hard-to-find sneaker nowadays.  Just like original version and the Supas, this shoe was designed by a skateboarder and inspired by a sports team, specifically a baseball team.  Although just a clean and simple blue on white colorway, Richard Mulder actually modeled this sneaker’s colors after the Los Angeles Dodgers.  The lowtop version was released way back in 2002. The new high top version, the Nike SB High Mulder is now up for grabs at select Nike SB retailers Worldwide. CAD 145.

Inspired by the coffee company Starbucks, comes the Nike SB Dunk Low “Starbucks” colorway set to release at Nike SB retailers this month.

The special take is a nod to the Seattle coffee company and it features a brown, white and green color combo inspired by the brand's color theme and coffee beans. Look out for the SB Dunk to release at Nike SB retailers across the globe like Rock City Kicks for $100.

'Nike SB has given their classic Stefan Janoski a premium makeover with this incredibly handsome “Janoski Wingtip” edition. The sleek upper features a premium white leather all around with silver metal eyelets, the perforated wingtip design in the front and a black stitched Swoosh and sole liner for contrast. The Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski gets dressed up for this latest edition that looks almost as at home paired with a tux as a skateboard. Appearing before in Mid editions, and in black suede lows, the original low-top cut of the Janoski receives a wing-tip redesign with the trimmings  to keep to that classic dress shoe style, while still maintaining an overall casual look to pass as a skater. This version comes in all-white leather and white waxed laces.

"Bred to be a badass, the AJ1 Low gets those colours of the OG"

Both pairs of the “De La Soul” 2005 Dunk SBs are being retroed, but just like the Nike SB Dunk “Diamond,” they won't be in their original forms. The high-top de la soul has been transformed into a low-top while the low-top de la soul is now a high-top. Nike SB does not really want to dilute the potency of original releases.

“Doing retros and bringing them back is cool, but to flip them around is cool because the old ones you had are always going to be the old ones,” says Nike SB Footwear Design Director Shawn Carboy.

“It allows the old ones to stay special and stay unique, and then the new ones keep it fresh.”

The Nike Dunk High Premium SB ‘De La Soul’ will release 2/12 in North America and 2/13 worldwide, and will retail at $150.

The Nike Dunk Low Premium SB ‘De La Soul’ will release 5/16 worldwide and retail at $135.

Here's another another quick shoe review. And this time it's for the blue box series Nike SB Dunk Low - Nike SB Eric Koston Thai Temple Low Review. This shoe has a metallic white gold swoosh outlined with a metallic red double stitched outline. All along the outside of the toebox, in to the lace loops, back around to the heel tab, we have a slightly long blue suede. At the back, we have that same length of blue suede with gold stitched Nike. At the back of the tab, following around from the mid panels, to the toebox, and to the back of the shoe, we have a shorter blue suede that almost feels like a nubuck. For the tongue, it's a simple flat blue mesh tongue with a white  red and blue Nike tag. It comes with carbon fiber tip laces. Inside lining, we have the red wrapping around to the heel of the interior. And then the inside we have the Koston Thai Elephant printed on it. It has a white midsole with red stitching highlighted with a golden gum bottom sole.

Enoouuggghhhhh! I know that is what you are thinking, maybe yelling in front of your computer, enough with the galaxy customs! I know...I know….but what you may be failing to realize is how significant this design was in the young history of custom shoes. It started two years ago when Nike released the Galaxy Foamposites. It has created a huge buzz in the Sneaker World as camp-out for this highly hyped shoe started earlier than expected and has caused chaos in various stores where it was released. Since then, numerous iterations have donned the out-of-this-world colorway. Most all shoe customizers have taken their shot on the very random, sporadic, non repeating but exactly distinct design. Maybe a handful of customizers replicated it on point and most were WAY off base no matter what a bunch of guys on the sneaker forums were saying, the real galaxy design experts knew it looked like $h1t.

Even though you may have seen galaxy inspired customs 1000 times maybe someone else has not seen it once. It's still kind of nice to see a decent attempt like these Nike SB Lows painted to look like the aforementioned Galaxy Foams by CPB Customs. It features a colorway of galactic proportions with eye-grabbing starry accents, cement prints, giving us the impression of lifting-off to endless wonders.
